When Fran and I took over Just For Fun we had a vision in mind to transform the complex to have something for everyone. Among many other updates, we created a gaming den for older kids and adults to enjoy their time at JFF. For those of you who have not had the opportunity to visit us yet, this is a picture of our playstation gaming booths. Each booth is a colorful cozy corner perfect to hang out and play some fun video games. Every time I look at this picture I can’t help but think that we were only open for 4 months before we were forced to shut down due to the pandemic. It breaks our heart to see that our 13,000 sf facility that is there to entertain large crowds has been empty and quiet for almost a year now.
No one had ever expected this to go on for so long. We miss the sound. of kids running around, singing “Happy Birthday”, cheering on each other as they came down the slides.
We really hope that we are able to survive this and still be there to serve our community. We want to be there so that kids can have a place to go to and have FUN once again… The support we are getting from the government is definitely helping but is no where near enough. We have seen so much love and support from our customers, family and loved ones and our hearts are full!
We have a GoFundMe Page set up to help us cover our overhead costs (Link in Bio). Please help us spread the word! It doesn’t cost anything to share and would mean everything in the world to us!
